Wow! It's easily been over a year since I did up a new journal in just over a year's time!!!
Been all-too busy with the western comic I've created, written and am currently still roughing out. There's been so may re-edits and rewrites on it that even to this point the art isn't anywhere near complete or even halfway rendered in pencil. Plus the entire storyline is easily 200+ pages...possibly near around 230.

Rest assured it's in much better shape as a narrative than it was in it's previous state as a story. Some characters and situations have been jettisoned...including whole issues in their previous form...GONE! Other characters have been expanded upon and/or reworked altogether. But overall, what I got going now is far better than I thought I could do. It's really working out great. I'm feelin' the vibe. Thinking instead of an issue by issue monthly, I'll just do it as one big 8 issue in length graphic novel.

But don't expect to see it here in my Gallery. Not talking about any specifics or sharing artwork on it at all. ONLY WAY anyone will see it is in the eventual final product. As for when that will be is up in the air as of yet. Mostly just working on the sketches and storypages these days. The days of theory and practice are now over as far as I'm concerned. Now is the time for DOING! So that's what I'm in the thick of...THE DOING. Got all the basics and stuff worked out, now I'm executing the visuals!

I MAY have a few odd sketches and such to share in my Gallery here and there that have no baring on my graphic novel, though. So stay tuned.

"Word to yo' mutha'!!!"

Wow it was the beginning of the month that you sent this message. Shows how busy I've been. I've been working on the blue pencils and rough sketches of my western comic I've created and already have all written up...I don't go into detail on it with anyone, so excuse my being vague on it ;D .

It's taking a long, loooonnnngggg time to do it because I've been editing the hell out of it. For example: I did reread at issue #2 and didn't like the second half so I tore that rough layout for scenes and redid the whole second half. Those changes effected the story in the following issues and even expanded characters and amped up the mini-series to 7 issues in length...but it reads much better. So mostly I've been drawing up a storm. ;)

Dear God child. Have you enough time to breathe, both ways, inhale and exhale? lol. =p

I try to breathe as much as possible but this western comic will be around 7 issues and roughly over 200 pages. And that's not counting cover art, book design, logos, etc.
I'll try not to hyperventilate too much. ;)
